Fear of Death...
The fear of death...

You don't need to be 'okay' about it.

It is an unknown thing. The end of the only thing we know or at least for now remember.

Of course it will bring some fear. A natural unknowingness of what is to come or not come.

Also fueled by culture shying away from it, religious fear-mongering and spiritual detachment ideologies. All different ways of running away from human vulnerability.

You don't need to be more than this. It's okay to feel human and embrace those fears.

Being frightened of death is normal. It is the unknown.

Maybe there is more after this, maybe not. Whatever each of us believes may soothe us or frighten us. Either way, all deserving of compassion and understanding.

There is no need for more fear on top of the natural fear, thinking you shouldn't be afraid. Fear of fear!

How crazy. Be kinder to yourself. You're allowed to be vulnerable.

Breathe.

It's okay to be afraid.
