Max is stranded in a strange land...
Chapter one: The Cut.
Have you ever woken up in an unfamiliar place and wondered how you got there? Now multiply that by ten, and then you might get close to the amount of panic I felt when I woke up to a night sky with three beautiful moons. Hi, I'm Max and right now, I'm wandering a forest in what seems like another world. The trees were blue, and emitted some light, bathing the forest in a soft blue glow. My only weapon is a blue, glowing stick. I was in a black T-shirt with a white wolf on the front, and black jeans, and I had my phone, a solar panel charger, a Swiss Army knife, and my wallet. And yes I sleep with all of those things, so what? After what seemed like hours, I stumbled upon what looked like a trail. I think I'm going to go left. As I walk some more, the sun starts to rise, and I walk into a clearing. I hear shouts and metal ringing out.
"Hold them off just a little longer men, they die if they are exposed to the sun!" A voice rang out above the commotion. As I adjusted to the light, I saw a scene of carnage. About fifteen men lay dead on the ground, and ten monstrositys on the ground. As the rising sun's light touched the monsters, they began to dissolve. There was for soldiers fighting against ten monsters, with jagged blades of bone for hands. One of the things suddenly whipped it's gruesome head in my direction and charged at me. I tried my best to dogge it but it slashed a deep gouge across my arm, from my shoulder to my elbow. As the thing slashed again, it stopped short, a blade drove straight through its head. I tried to speak but I couldn't, my head started to spin, and my wound started to smoke. I then promptly passed out. The last thing I remember was someone saying, "shit, he was scratched, get him to the-."
