It's what true friends do.
You've told me that I keep you grounded.
I never knew I was useful in that way.
I don't alter my emotions or my feelings.
I merely wake up hoping I contribute to your positivity and let you know that everything will be okay.

I promise to you that I will always do this.
I will never disappear,
Never, will I go away.

Irony has always played a huge role when it comes to you and I.
It always makes it's presence known and it's impossible not to see.
Knowing this is true, there should be no surprise .
You tell me that I keep you grounded, but you do the exact same thing for me.

I'm sorry if I've never told you.

Stop right there.

I already know what you're about to say.
You'll tell me to stop apologizing, but as you know, that's just my stubborn way.
Then, we will probably share a laugh or two, or three, or four.
You'll look at me in that special way.
I'll smile like only I can smile.
I'll keep you grounded while you keep me smiling.
Forever, until the end of time.
Forever and always,

Never, will I go away.
