Acrostic poem
Silent, the snow is falling.
It lay upon the earth
Like a frosty blanket
Encasing winter's birth.
Neonatal stirrings,
Tidings of rebirth.

Now the year is over,
Its bounty put in store,
Good folks will merry gather,
Heart and hearth an open door,
Til the Spring bring forth galore.
