Mothers are memories
Of things yet to be
I’m so glad mother
That you’re a part of me

Mothers are mirrors
Of our reflection selves
They are wise with age
Like books upon the shelves

Mothers are gifts
From the great place
All the heavenly stars
Shine upon their face

Mothers are mothers
And I’m glad your mine
When God made you
He made one of a kind
