Especially prominent in Canada it seems. Most of us work 2-3 jobs just to pay our rent, our bills, our taxes and fees12 But, hey, we got all sorts of fantastical "perks" for "free" up here, or do we really?34 In 1999, minimum wage in BC used to be $7.15/hr and you could rent a 1 bedroom for $650/month in East Vancouver including utilities! Now, minimum wage has doubled5, but rent has tripled, even quadrupled.6 It’s almost impossible now to find rental suites. Most places have turned their rentals into Air BnBs.7 They are tearing down our low income housing projects and building condos, it's the bees fuckin' knees! You should see the shit advertisements about these that they put out on billboards, websites, and even magazines. They advertise some as ‘affordable’8 which is a total fucking joke. They are only affordable if you work 2-3 jobs, and you're still going to be broke. This is not sustainable and only benefits the 1% They don't care if we can afford the rent. So here's a message to all you fuckers: Get fuckin' bent! They keep pushing the lies and they want you to be woke.9 10 That's the biggest fuckin' crime and it's not a fuckin' joke. Keep distracting you from what's going on right under your fucking nose They pour out the propaganda like endless water from the hose We're bleeding out, knocked out cold, punched square in the nose, fucking TKO, their merger shit's gettin' real fuckin' old11 So bloody fucking tired of being told how I should roll and when to fold, fuck those assholes, they gonna implode, explode Their import/export business is being exposed Their worldwide human trafficking scheme, exploiting honest hard working human beings Tearing apart families and ripping up the trees, no care for the future of ecology, just care about their economy, based on greed, filling up needs that aren't even necessary. Selling us garbage we don't fucking need so they can keep on feeding the big machine, the corporate communist propaganda beast. Gonna throw my monkey wrench12 into it 'cause I'm someone's uncool niece,13 Born in 1980, year of the monkey.14 Got something real funky to put in their trunks, eh? What will they do when there’s no more of us left to work the fields to produce food and manufacture the products they want us to consume? What will become of their giant pyramid of doom?15 Maybe they’ll have to make body part stew and eat us alive like Tokyo Ghoul.16 Take a page from Star Trek and start cloning17 their own suits so they can continue to clown around posting shitty reviews about new products curated just for you!18 The corporate commie controller suits just keep spewing out more ridiculous news designed to garner more views instead of telling us the truth. We’re not all going to hell in a hand basket, we’re already living inside of their slashes and brackets from the ticker tape masters descended and indoctrinated by the monarchal disasters. The lords and ladies from the feudalistic past who continue to take all of our cash through invented taxes designed to keep us all down and stick us in caskets.
