In America dreams can come true. In the US I'll find God.
In the breeze there are whispers of hope
A scent in the air that helps me cope.

The beautiful sky as it turns grey
Everything bliss, nothing in my way.

I never always need the bright blue sky
Because in the breeze is the reason why.

Down through the wind comes a message of life
When a heart stops it cuts like a knife.

I am a God just like you
In our own right, the chosen few.

Bird song greets me as I ponder existance
I wish God would see me and gift his assistance.

Would Jesus love me if I asked him to?
Would he shine light on the things I do?

Whispers of hope as I call His touch
Will He come when life is too much?

The sweetness of all American people
Gives me light, a love so simple.

I ask for Jesus's love but if truth be known
In the heart of America, honesty sown.

If I want to find God then I'll come to America
And meet all her people, so blooming angelica.
