At the assembly, Principal Grahme announces that in light of recent events (student wardrobe malfunctions), students will be allowed to go shopping in town on the weekends. Principal Grahme's announcement is met by cheers from the obese, pregnant, hyper pregnant, and obese and hyper pregnant students. Gretch, not trusting Grahme's intentions, whispers to Sarah and Erica that there's some sort of catch.

The cheers are turned to groans when Grahme reveals that the shopping trip will be supervised by Ms. Hassel and her security team. Grahme is annoyed by the student's reaction and dismisses the assembly, sending the girls to class.

En route to their classes, Erica and Gretch, notice that Sarah's having problems with mobility due to the size of her belly and all the weight she's gained. Sarah tries to deny it, but eventually admits she's nearing her wits end and doesn't know what to do. The idea of becoming too big to move frightens, her because of what she witnessed the previous night.

Erica, unsure of what to say and knowing Sarah's current situation is her future, suggests she visits the nurse's office. Gretch is skeptical, since Nurse Kalia hasn't been able to prevent the school's pregnancy pandemic, as far as she can tell. Sarah decides visiting the nurse's office is worth a try, since Nurse Kalia can't make things worse. Erica and Gretch offer to accompany her, but Sarah refuses their help, not wanting to feel helpless.

After Sarah departs, Gretch and Erica discuss the assembly. Erica sees the weekend shopping trip as an opportunity for herself and Sarah to visit a clinic and get an ultrasound. Gretch points out that to achieve that, they would have to figure out a way to ditch the security team. She also wonders if Sarah will be able to move by the weekend, considering the rate she's growing and how large she's become. Erica says they have a few days to figure out how to deal with the security team and jokingly tells Gretch, not to jinx Sarah, despite her own worries.

An exhausted and lactating Sarah arrives at the Nurse Kalia's office. She's forced to stand due to some of the other obese and hyper pregnant girls taking up multiple seats. Sarah wonders how the seats manage to support their weight and worries the seats might not support her own bulk.

Eventually, Sarah is called in to the office. Nurse Kalia asks her several questions about her pregnancy (some mundane, others unusual) and Sarah gets annoyed, none of the questions are about HER feelings. She snaps and tells Nurse Kalia off, voicing her concerns about how her pregnancy progressed at a rapid pace, all the weight she's put on, and other inconveniences. Nurse Kalia counters by saying that its natural for women's bodies to change during pregnancy and that the cravings, weight gain, and lactation are all normal. Sarah disagrees and asks if its normal for an entire school to wind up 'like this'.

Nurse Kalia changes the subject and offer to write a doctor's note that would excuse Sarah from classes until her 'situation improves'. Sarah's tempted to accept but decides against it. She fears spending all day in a dorm with nothing to do would lead to more pregnancy weight and she's having trouble moving with what she's gained already (not that she tells Nurse Kalia that). Sarah politely turns down the offer and leaves the nurses' office.

Meanwhile, Erica has biology class with Ms. Underwood. Today's lesson is about different types of parasites. Erica listens intently, at first to distract herself from her growing belly, and later with interest. She reflects on Jenna's claims about the ultrasound, her own musings in the shower last night (whether or not she was still in control of her own body), and Sarah's strange experience the previous night. It occurs to Erica that today's lesson is oddly specific and wonders if Ms. Underwood is trying to tell them something.

At the end of class, Erica stays behind to chat with Ms. Underwood. She asks about the lesson and what motivated Ms. Underwood to teach it. Ms. Underwood gives Erica a vague answer and Erica is left wondering if Ms. Underwood is in on whatever's happening.

Gretch has free period and walks around the school. She encounters Hayley, who now rivals Sarah in sheer size and seems to be swelling before her eyes. Hayley notices Gretch and asks how she manages NOT to be fat and pregnant. Unsure of how to answer or why Hayley's curious, Gretch asks if she's jealous. Hayley has conflicting feelings, she misses her trim and fit cheerleader bod, but her new figure as an opportunity to do plus sized or pregnant modeling... if she could only post things on social media again.

Gretch and Hayley's chat is interrupted by the arrival of Ms. Hassel. She doesn't acknowledge Gretch but tells Hayley she's keeping an eye on her. Hayley's annoyed that Ms. Hassel's still fixated on their encounter the previous day. Ms. Hassel responds by poking Hayley in the belly and making a veiled threat/ insult before leaving. Embarrassed, Hayley parts ways with Gretch.

Erica and Gretch reunite with a growing Sarah in their dorm. They swap stories about their day and agree that whatever's happening, Nurse Kalia has to be involved. Erica shares her suspicions that Ms. Underwood is involved too, bringing up the weird conversation they had at the end of class. Gretch finds that hard to believe. Sarah, who doesn't have classes with Ms. Underwood isn't sure what to believe. She thinks the lesson about parasites could be Ms. Underwood's way of warning the girls, though she doesn't like the implications.

Sensing tension between Erica and Gretch, Sarah changes the subject to the weekend shopping trip and their plans to ditch the security staff to get an ultrasound. The trio brainstorm but can't come up with a viable idea. Erica thinks they might need a different perspective to come up with a plan. Gretch reluctantly suggests Hayley, since she has beef with Hassel and would like to take the security chief down a peg. Erica, wanting some space, offers to talk to Hayley.

Erica makes her way to Hayley's dorm. She feels conflicted and a bit guilty about the clash with her friends. Are her suspicions about Ms. Underwood justified, the results of her hormone addled mind, or something more sinister?

Hayley is surprised to see Erica at her dorm. She decides to let her in and suggests she gets comfortable. The dorm is stockpiled with lots of snacks and Erica starts feeling hungry. She's surprised that Hayley seems to be a lot more mobile than Sarah, despite being the same size. Hayley points out that she was and still is, a cheerleader, despite tripling or quadrupling her weight. Erica thinks Hayley's fitness (relatively speaking) is due to luck and not due to cheerleading but decides to let that slide.

Getting comfortable proves easier said than done for both girls, leaving both of them embarrassed. Erica starts to vent about her concerns, regarding Ms. Underwood and whatever's happening to them. Hayley listens. She doesn't agree with Sarah's theory about Ms. Underwood's lesson being a warning ("Too little, too late") and relates to Erica's concerns a little. From her perspective, they're no longer in control of their own bodies and haven't been for a while. However, they still have control of their minds and second guessing themselves only makes things worse. Hayley has some suspicions about Gretch, since she's the only one not affected, but keeps those to herself.

Erica realizes that she owes Gretch and Sarah an apology for the past two days. She thanks Hayley for making her realize that. Hayley's torn between annoyance and surprise; she didn't expect Erica to come to her for advice. Erica admits she came for advice, but not about what they discussed, and explains her original reason for visiting. Hayley, seeing it as an opportunity for payback on Hassel, agrees to provide a new perspective.
