Help me build a fun story full of magic, moss, and moonlight! |
Once upon a time in a land far away there was a young man (Bayleen) and a young woman (Audreena) who were best friends. This friendship was frowned upon because they were from different places in society. Audreena is the daughter of Lord Gnobb. Bayleen is the son of a seamstress (Zeppa). They met in the woods as children and now they both possess abilities (magical powers). Lord Gnobb recruits ablemen (people with abilities) to help defeat the rogue ablemen who are robbing and looting throughout the land of Kiannanu. Bayleen is of age to help with this endeavor and proves to be a great and powerful ableman. He is quickly promoted within the new policing force. This story takes place in Kiannanu in a time where there is no technology and people live like they did in about the middle ages. There is a council of elders who govern the districts of Kiannanu and they have the ability to incarcerate those who do wrong. The worst offenders are sent to Yiyani island where their powers do not work because of a naturally occurring element in the rocks there. Bayleen is key to finding that Audreena has powers as most in the lordship class do not. It is very rare for a noble born person to have powers. Ablemen are connected to the mystic, a place beyond any of our comprehension. Mystic ablemen can see things that are far away; they go places in spirit and report what is happening from across the country. Not everyone with abilities can do this and those who can are special and have to be strong. There is a mythical force trying to destroy both Audreena and Bayleen as they are great and powerful in this magical world (although they are only beginning to discover their abilities) It has been said that a powerful seeker will destroy the mystic synod (the bad guys) and the mystic order is trying to stop the synod. People of the other world (People without abilities) do not know the synod or the mystic order exists; they are oblivious to the fight going on under their noses. The council knows about it and pretends it does not exist. Members of the council can use magic through potions and spells but most do not possess innate abilities. They are taught by the wizard in the High council. The lower council has a vote in the council meetings but is not key to the running of it. There are 14 members of the high council. There are countless numbers of members in the lower council. There is magic that is key to discovering bad intentions of the ablemen. If they would use their abilities for evil they can be discovered using this magic. >>>>>>>>>> |
