A poem about the hardest moment of my life.
I see why they break
I see why they fold
it's sadder than any horror story
that's ever been told

The pressure that I know
has mounted ten fold
and my burning flame
leaves a bitter cold

Maybe it's Karma
for all those lies I told
all those stories I sold
to those less bold

But was it all so bad?
those people were glad
and when I was writing
none of us were sad

It was those other people
the monographs
that really got mad
and dredged up the past

But deep down
I cannot be angry
Deep down I can't be mad
Deep down even I, wish I was ironclad
