 The Ninja Monkeys are an elite, not so secret group of WDC members who somewhat covertly lurk behind the scenes and do random and not so random acts of kindness and charity and spread good will and mayhem throughout the community. The Ninja Clan has decided to let the WHOLE community in on the crazy, wild, and sometimes hilarious shenanigans by sharing some Monthly Monkey Missions that anyone in the community is welcome to jump into!  Starting JANUARY 1st, 2024, The Ninja Monkeys will release ONE brand spanking NEW merit badge each month for a whole YEAR!! That, my friend, is 12 brand new, shiny badges...and you can ONLY get them by completing the Monthly Monkey Missions. They will NOT be for sale this whole first year  You can only earn them by doing the missions....It is my pleasure to introduce you to the first in our 12 badge collection: January is Handwriting Appreciation month and this badge nods to that. Is it important or has it become irrelevant in today's world? What value does handwriting still have, if any? Provide at least ONE reference to back up what you say. Post your completed and edited essay in the forum below on or before February 28th.  Review Mission Find an essay, paper, story, or static item that talks about writing...and review it! Write a substantial review that provides honest but helpful feedback, suggestions and if needed, corrections. Ask at least one question, and be encouraging. Your review must be made public and once you've completed it, you need to return to the forum and post the ID number to your review below on or by February 28th.  Covert Activity Mission Find and Send four c-notes to NEW members who have less than five CRs. Welcome them and offer some friendly tips or advice and maybe encourage them to check out the daily newsfeed. Return to this forum and leave a post with the user names of each person you sent a note to. Posts need to be made on or by February 28th to count.  Community Angel Send an anonymous gift donation of 10,000 gift points or more to a WDC group or charity of your choice...but be SURE to do it anonymously! If you do not know how to do this, please email me and I will help you. Now, because this is super sneaky and covert, you will NOT post what you did below. Instead, you will send me an email. You do not have to tell me how much you donated, just tell me which group or charity you sent gift points to.
