The same game in a different timeline
As a kid
I used to gather my cousins around
To go knocking on our neighbor's door
And as soon as they open
We run away
Laughing at how stupid they'd look
As an adult
I gather my feelings around
To understand why
You knock on my heart
And as soon as I open up to you
You run away
Not caring how stupid I'd look
