You're testing the beta version of a transformation suit

This will be told in first person, so name doesn't matter: the first choice will pick male or female for the lead character along with some other detail options.

You work at a lab that is switching from government contracts to consumer products. They are trying to leverage matter transformation tech for public use. You aren't a key researcher, but have been given a chance to test the BETA version of the ShiftSuit, a transformation suit. The suit can only transform the wearer, and is controlled by an app: either on the suit itself so the person wearing it can transform themselves, or on another's device, so they can transform the person. Nothing is worn under the suit, and if a person is changed into another person, the new 'them' will be naked. The app won't ever die if the person wearing the suit is controlling it, but if someone else is, their device might need to be charged just like any phone. I envision a failsafe that allows the wearer to revert, but since this is a beta test of the suit, completely fine if you want to write in options where it malfunctions.
