A Pindaric Ode for the Get Over it Day Contest
Ode to Get Over It Day or How I Get Over a Bad Day


There was a moment when I was hurt tremendously,


The pain dug deep into my very soul,


I thought it would go on endlessly


Where nothing would fill the most bottomless hole,


Why was I chosen so randomly?


Heavy drinking nor sleepless nights filled the empty incompleteness;-

Turning inward, I discovered something odd,


I had been missing my daily talks with God.


The things that matter now are the ones that bring me the most happiness.
