I was just six,
She was one.
We began to love each other.
She is like a snowball,
So I called her Snowy,
She was my only pet dog.
Snowy spent the whole day with me.
She slept at night with me
In my bed and got up
Very early in the morning.
She awakened me after
The alarm rang.
Snowy accompanied me
Until the main gate of our house daily
When I went to school.
I always saw her waiting for me
On that place welcoming me.
She loved my touch of hand.
She went to sleep through that touch.
She also took care of me.
She massaged my body
Through her soft smallish leg,
I felt fresh.
Ten years passed away so fast.
Snowy departed.
I hear my last touch of hand
Before being buried.
My tears came down
In my cheek.
My parents requested me several times
To another pet
But I couldn't.
None could replace
My Snowy.
Even now, I don't have any pets.
I live with those golden memories.
