Good health takes easy choices. Don't smoke.
My friend has bad lung cancer
She started.with a horrible cough
She knew that her love of smoking
Could be a symptom that friends would see as bad enough.

She would steal cigarettes from her mother
She would smoke on her way to class
She asked boys to be her best friend and
For a smoke then she act real crass.

One day she started feeling
That her world might really end
She coughed so much she fainted
And as a joke she could not pretend.

A month later she was at the doctor office
With her x-ray that looked so bad
That her mother started crying
And the grief showed on the face of her dad.

The option was just simple for
Izzy needed the habit to kick
And operation to remove the cancer
Could hardly do to curing trick.

Opt three was just plain morbid
For if Izzy did not quit
Her death would be quite painful
And a funeral is all that she would get.
