Just try to get my wife to leave on time.
“Okay, we can go now. We’re in the car.”

“But, it’s not 9 yet.”

“So. We can leave ten minutes early.”

“You said ‘let’s leave at nine’.”

“Yeah. And if I hadn’t nagged you every five minutes for the past two hours, we’d still be sitting in front of the TV.”

“Okay, okay.”

“Uh … what now?”

“Did you remember the cooler?”

“Yes.”

“Bottles of water?”

“Yes.”

“Sunscreen?”

“Yes.”

“Beach towels?”

“Yes.”

“Umbrella?”

“Yes.”

"Beach chairs?"

"Yes."

“Sunglasses?”

“Yes.”

“Flip flops?”

“Yes.”

“Okay, I guess we can go now.”

“Finally! Jeez, it’s quarter past nine, and we’re still in the driveway!”

"Let's go, Hon."

"Wait a minute. You did that on purpose, didn't you?"
