After unlocking a Tome of Monsters, Wendel was cursed, shrunken to the size of an ant.
In a world of Wizards, Witches, Sorcerers/Sorceress, Warlocks, Alchemist, and various Magic Wielders. Only one can be the best at these roles. And even then, the best of the best compete to declare themselves the Greatest of all Magician.

THE Magician, one would say.

Yet one Witch, despite being the best of her kind. Secluded herself deep in the woods. Away from the chaos and rivalries of fellow spellcasters and potion-brewers.

She goes by Wendel of the Northern Forest. A Witch isolated from society and in turn her fellow Witches. All in the pursuit of her obsession and goal in life.

Monsters

In a world of magic, monsters go hand in hand as the result of Mana Mutation. As Mana, the birth energy of all magic, infused itself into other objects and living creatures in massive amounts to mutate them. Hence how monsters came to be.

Be it Slimes or Goblins, Orcs or Minotaurs. Monsters come in many varieties, and those various species has sub-species afterwards. One of the points Wendel would make on why she loved Monsters.

Another one would be that Monsters make better companion than humans, Wendel was born around monsters after all. A small tamer village mostly filled with Slimes and Golems. She could held up a much better conversation and enjoy their company more than anyone.

Granted they don't talk back.

Which is why she's here, in this abandoned temple buried on the mountains. Where, at the centre of an overgrown stone pedestal resides a red-scaled covered book. At the front of the page is a strange logo, a dragon's skull. Centered on a Demon Lord's signia.

This is the Book of Monsters. Created by a once Mythical Tamer, A master of Monsters, of a Lost era. This book contains the knowledge of every monsters in existence, as well as many spells to talk to monsters, to tame them and more related.

Such a powerful book merely heard in rumors and whispers. To the point those doubt such a power exist in the first place, brushing it as a myth at best, an unfounded rumor at worst.

Yet, for a witch dedicated in scholary and research of all things Monster like her, who spent her entire lifetime searching for a book like this. It was a task not so big for her.

With a heavy deep breath let out, calming her nerves, she reached for the book and began reading it's content. Slowly, knowledge is transfer into her very eyes. Of every monsters of every spells, quirks and all, the knowledge of this tamer's experience ingrained into her brain and marrows.

This magical book inserted so much knowledge into her, a large dust of magical molecules cover the area with it's dense blue fog. By the time she had finished her read-through, she had completely memorized the entirety of it, as it dissolve into smoke dissipate with the fog.

She had done it, the knowledge of the Tamer was her, and her alone to wield and master.

She was also tiny in size.

...

...

How the fuck did this happened?

It appears, as she analyzed herself, the pedestal had been cursed. No wonder she didn't felt any curse spells on the book, dammit. It's also in runic.

Spellcasting using verbal components tends to stem to two common language, latin Hogwarts or runic. Latin Hogwarts stems from a mix of latin and common, the usual standard whenever you cast spells. Runic stems from the Lost Era, few are able to properly pronounce it, those who could could cast stronger version of their abilities.

Runic can also be written down, ingrained into objects such as the curse she is inflicted with to cast powerful and near impossible to lift curses. She has learn how to dispel runic, since she often used them in her quest to find the Book, she should try going back home...

Strangely she doesn't feel anything else. Is this it? For a runic curse it seems doable enough if you know teleportation magic like her. By the snap of a finger, she had return back to her cabin in the woods. Still small on the floorboard but nevertheless home.

While the curse itself isn't a major concern, being tiny Wendel realized the drawbacks soon enough after looking around her house. She has to use her magical flying broom conjured from thin air just to look around her now massive cabin house.

Her favorite books and ingredients became gigantic, her brewery stand and cauldron are too big to use by her tiny hands. She doesn't even have to go to her basement research lab and figured out she can't use it.

So much for the cure...

So far, she could still use her magic. She still has her broom, clothes, but what about the items in her pocket dimension?

She conjured a zipper out of thin air and opened up it's content, a screen appeared from it. She pressed on an empty sack.

Yep... They were normal sized, too big for Wendel to grab out of her pocket dimension without getting pinned down by it.

At the very least, she can still do magic...

Speaking off... Would it not be a good time to start practicing all that new spells from the Book of Monster? It'll help with her shrinking problem. Having a monster as an assistant. Thankfully she doesn't have to go far...

She whistled as loud as she could, sitting on the edge of her table.

Something slithers under it, a mass of gelatin, slowly forming itself under her from the ground, growing and growing into a gigantic (at least to her) size. Her pet slime Toronto, Toro for short.

A normal slime that she fed multiple elemental crystal, Rubies, Sapphire, Opal, etc. To see how much adaptability a slime had. After all, they're the most common monster throughout the region, adapting even to the harshest of climates the elements could throw at them.

Even then, she had also fed it adamantium, orichalcum and even mythril. Just to see how it reacts. This was the result.

A rainbow colored slime, bouncing up and down enough to cause tremor, jump up into the table and greet her. By nudging to her tiny body.

Although Toro's her slime, it's technically a wild slime, having been slowly tamed non-magicly by beef jerky and those minerals she mentioned.

So, first thing first, Taming. According to the book, taming requires certain conditioner be met. One condition is that the target monster is passive towards the caster. So this should be easy.

She whispered it exactly how it's pronounce, runic babble. Words solidify from Mana, and in turn a light shines from the Slimes core, growing a string that attached to herself.

With that, taming complete. Toronto the Rainbow Slime is officially Wendel's monster now.

Or according to the Book, her familiar.

The first step complete, next is to try... Monster Humanization. Allowing monsters to obtained human-like bodies, legs and arms and human intelligence. The works. This should help with her tiny problem

To do this, the monster needs to have a name, check.

The monster needs to evolve three to four times. While Toronto's evolution is off that times due to how many minerals she fed it, it still counts, she thought. Check.

Finally, human remains is needed to perfect the transformation. This one she accidentally prepared beforehand.

She flew off into the closet, with a wand she opened it. Revealing a skeleton of a rival witch that attacked her cabin. Melissa... Whatever her name was. Put up a flashy spell, but at the time she had quite a bad day, a death of a dear monster and a terrible cold. So she shot this Gal's heart and mind with a runic Mana Shot. A weak spell, used correctly and it's essentially a magical firearm.

Once she lies on the floor dead, Wendel took no time to skin her to her bones. The meat became fertilizer for her small farm, and bones were left in the bone closet for future experiments.

And luckily, that happens to be now.

She began chanting the spell in runic, forming words and condensed them into each shape of the runic's alphabet. With each words carefully crafted the bones and the slime began to rattle and shake. The bones then lift itself up, glowing in this purple outline surrounding it and transforms into a purple orb. Meanwhile the Slime had also lift itself up and turned into a blue orb.

She slowly control those orbs with her finger, moving them closer and closer to each other until they collided, then a massive *boom* happened. Covering the area with a purple tinted smoke.

It took awhile for Wendel to adjust her eyes to see if the spell work, as she leans her broom away to get a better look at the situation.

Once the smoke had slowly dissipate, the shadowy figure of a human older girl started forming. It was in the shape of a witch, and then now that the smoke is gone. Wendel was quite surprised to see her Toro had transformed into what she remembered was Mellisa's body shape.

She had assumed first than the Humanization would mean just to shape almost any monster with more human proportions, not mold it based on the decease's bones. This is truly an interesting spell.

Considering that she's more than happy to pay attention to Mellisa now, she had just realized how voluptuous she was before. As Toro before her had massive tits and ass covered in the slime-shaped witch garment, equally sexy as it shows her cleavage and thighs.

Toro now has hair. Slime hair shaped like a bowl cut. Bangs covered it's eyes but a mouth like shape under it conveyed its happiness.

Wendel asked if Toro could speak.

"...I can. I could speak. Master I could speak!!" Toro leaps as her voice came out as a gurgled older female, had Wendel stand on the table she would've felt the massive vibration from Toro's landing.

Wendel nodded, equally overjoyed by this results. Finally, a monster that could convey human emotions. How many years had she dreamt of this, how many times had she wished to heaven above for a monster friend.

Now Infront of her is Human-like Toro, able to speak and act and think.

"Hmm. Minerals." Toro took a handful of gems and started eating it from its hands. Licking her lips. Just like how a human would finish eating their food. At least from Wendel's own research.

Now that the Humanization Spell is complete, it is time to start dispelling this runic curse. She told Toro to get ready and help her with it.

"Aren't you resting Master? You've already explored the temple and finish this spell. You're tired?" Toro asked, leaning nearer towards Wendel and her broom.

Wendel shook her head, trying to shoot down her worries despite the now visible eyebags and pupil constraint. The more hearable heavy breathing and a feeling of tiredness started swooping.

She isn't tired. Even if that spell drained her Mana a lot.

"No. Master is tired! Like usual!! You can't force yourself like that again!" Toro huffed, like a worried mother to her child. "You need rest!"

Toro had always been like this, like a cat she would disturb her work when she looked tired. Always covering her sheets or dragging her to bed. She was glad even when human she's still caring for her.

But Wendel was too stubborn, she does not want to rest when there is so much stuff to do. She reasoned. But Toro had taken the initiative when Wendel lowered her guard. Grabbing her out of her broom with her slimy hand and stuffing her deep between Toro's giant boobs.

Wendel was shocked, and felt very embarrassed by her captors choice of prison. Before she started coddling her breast more, hugging it to pressure Wendel between them. Now her face has gone from red on her cheeks it grows around her face. She protested to let her out of there but it felt on Toro's deaft ears. Simply smiling and cooing her master. Slathering her with her slime as it sucked her deeper into Toro.

She even sung a nursery rhyme. The same one she used back when Toro was young and hyper-active. Wild slimes tend to be like that so she used a nursery rhyme mixed with a sleep spell. It worked on Toro and now it worked on her. Perhaps due to her bones belonging to that Witch.

But Wendel couldn't found out now that she's knocked out. Sleeping soundly between Toro's chest. Her body now sunk deep into her core.

"There, rest well master. You had a big day today." Coddled Toro.
