This is how I feel when I go to the dentist!
Sitting in the waiting room,
My legs are just like jelly,
With butterflies in my belly!
Should I stay? Should I wait?
Will I need teeth on a plate?
Did I clean them, like he said,
Every night before I went to bed?
Oh the feelings of fear going around my head!
Before I could leave, I hear someone say,
"Claire, it's your turn, walk this way,"
Oh dear me, how I dread this day!

I walk through the door,
He gives me a smile,
How I wish I could run a mile!
I climb on the chair, and lay quite still,
I open my mouth, and feel a chill.
This will not hurt, he syas with a grin,
As he places the drill, next to my chin.
Before I knew it the work was done,
But all I wanted was my Mum!
My feelings of fear were quite injust,
But I still left there in a rush!
