A little bedtime story about Harry Fox

Harry Fox (1)

In my childhood each night around bedtime.
My big brother would tell us a bed time story.
It was about Harry Fox who was harry indeed.
He lived in our attic and kept the boys good.

My brother would say you boys better be quiet.
Harry Fox will come down from attic to get you.
We kid's believed Harry was ugly and mean.
We were quiet or Harry would come after us.

So all of us would be very quiet and listen close.
To every word my brother spoke about harry Fox.
He told us of the time Harry lived in the woods.
With all his young brothers and little sisters.

Then came the big fire that killed all of his family.
Harry was lucky to escape the fire in the woods.
Harry looked for a new home, and found ours.
he was very hungry when he came to our home.

He found our dog Bandit's water and food bowls.
He ate and drank until he was completely full.
He liked bandit's food and stayed at our house.
so he decided to make our house his new home.

Harry found the attic he lived in when I was a boy.
Many nights I heard this little story of Harry Fox.
It put the boy's to sleep. But the real pleasure
Was to sleep next to big brother when he spoke,
About Harry Fox, who lived in our attic, at home.
