Love's flame burns strong through heartache and the rain
Alone in the crowd, people rush by
Loneliness sets in and life passes through
While love’s infinite flame kindles its bloom

Rain falling down, tears from the eyes
Streaking down the glass, streaming from the heart
Flashing lightening in the skies; embers smoldering in the dark

He walks in; she looks up
Aching to speak and yearning to touch
Wanting to stay but having to go
Love’s infinite flame stalls to a subtle glow

Rain falls down yet again; tears well up once more
Shielding drops of the shower, wiping mist from the eyes
Stirring the cinders in the heart, thunderous rumbling from the dismal skies

Single in the masses, mixing in with the crowd
Loneliness is gone and life carries on
While love’s infinite flame inside still sears strong
