TEEN DREAMS

She stands before the mirror
Her lithe body dancing
To the strains of the music;
A sensual creature, romancing

The dreams of a teen, not quite a woman
And yet not a little girl.
Her lithe body stops;
Then just one last whirl.

The mirror reflects dreams;
Reality sets in, she picks up her book.
Another school day, she will learn,
Time will give her that sensual look.
