Darkness and the light
People of the Dark Side. What do we know about them? Many of us feel that they are not redeemable. That they do not have souls. In many cases they have given up their souls and they are of the most dreadful evil that is unimaginable. But what if they are born? And what if they are not as evil as we suppose them? And what if they were just trying to live?
I believe in the goodness of people. I believe that unless one chooses to be a demon, there is always a chance for redemption. Once a person chooses to walk in the Dark Side, he/she should be allowed the chance to redeem themselves, unless it's merely a lie. There is only so much deception one can take.
Once a person gives up their soul they have none. But if they are born without one, then they must be allowed to earn one. After all, many demons may not really want to be souless, but merely want to live. Is it wrong to live?
I do not believe that Demons were created solely to destroy people's happiness or to lead them to the Evil One. That's the task of Devils. Why do I say this? In the Bible it is written, "And the angels saw that some of these women were pleasing and took them," in Genesis. I've forgotten the chapter and verse. I don't think the verse was written in exactly that way, but I'll find out and post it.
The thing is, this points out that the Angels found human women pleasing. Might not the devils and his cronies as well? Perhaps the union could have produced demons, as well as those who have sold their souls. They do not know any other reality. Thus, some say that they are evil. I believe that they live like that because they do not know any other way.
Are we going to condemn them because of that?

This is a point someone has just reminded me. Satan, King of the Devils, was once an Angel of God. He serves Him still. Look in the Book of Job. God tested the faith of Job using the Devil to take away all Job had. Read the book. One must ask. Would the Devil had asked permission from God to test Job? Even if Job was nearly sinless? I for one, think not. Perhaps the punishment of Satan was that he could not look upon the Grace of God. If you have been created to serve Him, would that not be the greatest punishment of all? To lose the only thing that mattered to you? Remember (at least to me), that Satan was cast out because he led the revolt against the Holies of Holy. Why? Because he could not stand the idea of a human being higher than him. Pride was his sin. Thanks Lexi!
This shows that even Angels, the beings closest to Him, was also imperfect. Who are we humans to judge what is good and what is bad? We may share the Earth with demons. Demons who have no idea of God, our Creator. Yet they are created and are in His plans. Who are we to gainsay him?

Interestingly enough, I came across this when I was clearing up some stuff. It was something that I had written when the idea was still fresh in my mind.
Some families have skeletons in their closets, which they liken to having a demon. This demon can be passed down from one family member to another.

They say that demons can be passed down from one generation to another. It is a vicious cycle, trapping the family in a situation they cannot escape. The family has all the material riches and physical satisfaction they want, yet they are deeply unhappy. It is not a devil that torments them, but demons. It would take an exceptionally strong will and mind to break out of the cycle.

In this day and age there are more demons around than we can count. No, these are not the demons Chriatianity warned us against, the demons who possess others and force them to act against their will. Rather, I'm talking about inner demons. All of us have them. Those that allow the demons to control them become the true demons, not those who were born into this world without a soul. That's because they were given a soul but they lost it.

I know this article can be improved and I would love to hear the views of others about this. Thanks!!!

I also realize that I am a bit preachy, so please don's hesistate to tell me if I'm off! Thank you!
