If you had the ability to freeze time what would become of you?
I stand on the edge of twilight's dawn
Forever caught between dreams
Never to touch the morning light
Nor caress the fading moonbeams.

Time stands still, and I cannot weep
Even as silence breaks my heart
Never hurt yet never healed
And always ripped apart.

Is it more pain to stay like this
Or let the future resume?
Can I learn to love life again,
Or does my heart have no room?

Is there a place in the world
For someone just like me?
Can I live without regrets
And hope for what might be?

Or must I remain alone
Trapped on the edge of time,
Scared of a broken heart,
Yet wanting to claim what's mine.

I stand on the edge of twilight's dawn
Forever caught between dreams
Never to touch the morning light
Nor caress the fading moonbeams
