In this I try to describe a feeling of sadness I find pretty impossible to describe.
A doll mask shows a dainty smile painted into place.
If one dared looked beneath the mask and glanced at her true face,
They would see a pained expression, weeping tears of crystal glow.
Hiding under the mask of features so pure, with nothing much to show.

A broken heart beats sure with the hope that one day,
Some one would love the face behind and hear what it had to say.
Hardly seen by the world away does she hide.
Upon rare moments if brief but pure to show her true side.

Locked away from humanity who dares keep her chained?
Sadly, she holds the key herself but can’t see past her pain.
She holds herself prisoner leashed by her own fears.
Wanting to reach and call someone, yet hoping no one hears...
