Hope for remembrance, dissolve in regrets, and never let go of love until it returns
[Unwritten letters can be so fascinating]

Dear Mister

Dear Mister,

How many days are there until the sun falls upon us?
Although we have barely crossed horizons, secret handshakes never succumbed to time.
I can't stand to feel my legs crumble beneath me,
As if they were sun soaked clay pillars.
Before we were clinical and well prepared.
We took time to disinfect our minds before delving and dissolving...
But not this time.
This time, my heart will be ripped so raw
That the colour red will drip off the spectrum.
I am fading into the backdrop while I wait for you
Acting out my monologues until I can almost
Touch and feel the words, like you're whispering back
Please, remember me when the leaves drift in pink winds in the sky,
And always remember this name,
This very name you called upon so many times
In that green room with all
The magical crystals and glass houses for tiny little candles
And the wooden desks we would almost live inside.
My locker forgets me.
Please don't tell me, that you forget...

Love,
Lesley
