Unforgiven

                                                        Old Hull. October 16, 2003.


From room to desolate room
Your eyes pursue me,
Solitary stalker!

How long am I doomed to bear
The weight of your gaze?
Why do you stare so?

Will there be no reprieve,
No relief from reproach?
Will you never smile?

Bid farewell to love and strife,
Abandon gender. Get a life!
Stupid cat!
