An unusual thought--If I were to be a letter, which one would I choose to be
AN ODE TO LETTER ‘O’

If I were a letter,
I would be rather ‘O’,
It’s so enigmatic,
Like the good old zero.

Like a zero, truly,
Yes, I am in a way.
I am jobless, therefore,
‘You are zero’, they say.

Even otherwise ‘O’
Signifies empty space;
Almost like my own life,
Empty, though with a grace.

‘O’ also tells us that,
Life is but circular.
Early childhood habits,
In old age do recur.

“Do not transgress limits”,
‘O’ tells us in essence,
As it sets for itself
Its own circumference.

‘O’ is unique, it has
No beginning, no end,
Like eternal life which
Does birth and death transcend.
