When Love is stolen would you not still see them, hear them
Go ahead and say what you will,
Scratch into my heart.
You'll find every last rose there.
A fresh will not start.

I stand at your ever closed door,
And I remember,
I falter, remembering how I found you
On the morn of December.

Laugh at my aching, trembling heart.
Say what ever you will.
You are no more the loving man.
But I am woman still.

My skies have turned to charcoal black,
Birds flee my cold home.
I wake up with icy, frozen feet,
Knowing I am still alone.

{i] Mock the wings that bear me down,
To take you where I am,
I'll tell you what I was and more.
A sacrificial lamb.

I lay my heart apon your table,
We signed that loving bond.
You were stolen away only days later.
By worse than Winters cold.

Struck down with a single red circle,
Spilling life on the rug,
What is this excuse for my hardened life?
Like a parasite. A bug.

Say what you will say to any other,
At the sun's full height.
Midnight can seem a year away.
But so can Morning light.

Down, down into the big, gaping grave.

{c: grey} Only for a short while
I saw you with your golden bright wings,
So I smiled, a teary smile.
