Written for the 55 word story contest. The monster's chase.
         I was trapped and he knew it. Trapped in the backyard. I knew the beast was tiring but had more steam left than me. I ran for my life and tripped over a tree stump as I looked behind me.

         I heard him approach me and felt his touch. "Tag, you're it," my brother said.
