Written about rape from a personal experience. . .
Loving you was thought to be easy,
But now she understands all the pain you bring.
You had a hidden knife that she did not see.
You hid it well.
You made her believe it was love.
Until one night, you left her battered and torn.
You stole her innocence.
Thinking you were only doing what she wanted,
Until she started fighting you.
That's when you slapped her.
That made her scared.
She was paralyzed with fear.
You forced yourself upon her.
Not thinking about what you were doing to her.
You were only thinking of yourself.
That night you stabbed your knife through her heart.
She thought all hope was gone.
But she was too scared to leave you.
She wasn't sure what you would do to her because you scared her.
You tortured her.
You raped her repeatedly,
Night after night,
Day after day.
Finally she was at the point of killing herself to make it all stop.
But it seemed that that was what you wanted.
One night she tried.
They put her in the hospital,
And she finally started telling people about you.
Now you're the one who's scared,
Scared of court, scared of jail.
And she's finally strong.
Now she's the one laughing instead of crying.
Who's winning now?
The good or the evil?
