Depression

Depression hovers in the hearts of many
It is a cross people should not have to carry
They want it to go away
They want it to be buried
But no, it can’t leave that easily
It puts up quite a fight
It always wins and things are reversed
Wrong is winning instead of right
My life, too, has been conquered by depression
Doomed in the darkness, my heart lies
Faced to be tormented for all eternity
Until this world as we know it dies
