A poem I wrote a while ago
I close my eyes
I don't want to see
I cover my ears
Your voice is hurting me
I want you gone
Go out the door
Footsteps a memory on the floor
Just let me cry
Just let me scream
Just let me run
Run away from you
Please don't follow me
I held you once
Now I'm letting you go
Love's burnt out
Hate's knockin' on the door
Please
Just let me cry.
