This is what it's like to be hated?
Even from afar, they hate me, I see.
I see for myself for whom I am;
A face in the mirror and nothing more.
They hate me for sure.
How can this be when I'm only me?
How can they want from me more than what I am?
They hate me for me, for who I am, for what I stand.
When I was three, love was ease.
When I am wiser, people leave.
Who has changed? They or I?
I have changed and so have they.
Mom's turned into a beast.
Sister, a hater, a stabber; friends, foes.
I'm left alone to fend for self, for my beliefs.
They hate me, you see.
The world hates me.
Along with this, along with that--
We're two separate pieces, the world and I.
Why can't they accept this?
Why can't I?
