By me, to me...
I lost myself today
In the lies, in the dark.
As if I stumbled, as if I fell.
I couldn't find my way.
I yelled as if in hell.
I didn't know what to say,
How to say it.
And yet you stood, stood so still
With little pity, with little heart.
You didn't feel, you didn't care.
You watched me groan as I fought alone.
You watched me cry, you watched me die.
You tried to run, you tried to hide.
But you were slow, so now I know
You are cruel, you evil fool.
Your intentions, man,
Your heavy clothes.
They never hid you, they never can.
The past, the present, the future
From which you tried to hide--but
You are nothing, nothing without.
