Mother Earth
Going through changes

Changes are happening everywhere
and they are not always trivial.
As we expand now we should take care,
Mother Earth is not always mindful.

As she makes her latest adjustments
storms and floods are in the news daily.
As clear warnings to clean up our acts,
to be deemed worthy or possibly be swept away.

Mother Earth is notably adept,
this transformation is never-ending.
So we had better be more alert
because now there is no escaping.
