I wrote this story 21 years ago; I was 8. Seems unsophisticated even for an 8 year old!
I. I LANDED ON A STAR

Once I was blasting off in a ship. I was heading for the moon, but I hit a rubber planet. So I jumped because I was mad, and when I jumped I bounced a million miles in the sky and it took me two years to come down -- which is two seconds on Earth.

When I came down I bounced up again, then I landed on a star.

Every time I spit on the star, little white monsters would come out. I would smash them, then eat them. They were good, too. But they got my teeth dirty.

I was lucky. I had a toothbrush and toothpaste.

It seemed like five days on the star, but it was a half hour. I started to get sick of eating the little monsters.

I had a parachute. I parachuted down to Earth.

II. THE GIANT MOUSE AND ME

Another year I went up on Mars on accident. I was in the rocket that the astronauts were on. I was playing in it.

I thought I was a goner. The ship crashed into a giant mouse who lived on Mars. It smashed the giant mouse's tail.

I got out and saw the mouse. He was wearing a blue shirt and Nike shoes. He had red eyes.

The mouse ran after me. I ran behind the rocket.

The mouse turned out to be nice. Now I had a friend.
