*Can your childhood ruin your future?
Her soul has set adrift
Crashing upon a stormy sea.
Her past filled with pain
living hell's pure misery.

Jaded by the wrongs
that followed her since a kid.
Fighting to erase the visions
of what her daddy did.

Forgotten and betrayed
She kept it locked inside.
Afraid that they would see
the torn soul she tried to hide.

She found herself in love
But that soon caused distress.
As her mother had once said
To trust would be a mess.

For he had found the closet
the one she tried to hide.
no one could be prepared for
daddy's pictures locked inside.

So alone in the world she stays
Never daring to bare all.
Too afraid to move on to
Her life after the fall.
