*A tale of starcrossed lovers.
Whispers in the silence
Conveyed by the heart
Tell tales of the violence
That tore two souls apart.

He bore the scars of a boy
He wore them on his sleeve
His life had known no joy
Brought up to deceive.

Fell for Daddy’s little girl
Spoiled to the last
The oysters' hidden pearl
a woman without a past

Never taught to love
He tried to do his best
He always fell short of
Succeeding at his quest.

She started to get tired
Waiting for him to change
For the life that had transpired
Had become rather strange

Then one night she told him
She was leaving to start anew
The light in his eyes grew dim
A storm began to brew.

He never made a sound
Before his violence raged
The good in him had drowned
The animal uncaged.

When the eve was through
two lifeless vessels did remain
The early morning dew
Shed light on private pain.

Whispers in the silence
Conveyed by the heart
Tell tales of the violence
That tore two souls apart.
