WHEN WILL IT END?

Why is it done?
When does it end?
When what has been taught leaves deceit and greed
in the eyes of women and men.
How much strength and goodwill to other countries
must we show, to cover up the fact that this war
for power is more important to our "leaders"
then their countries own?
So our hungry will stay hungry
and our poor will stay poor,
because our country needs to build bigger bombs
for the war.
The fight for unity was never meant to be
obtained.
And yet our "leaders" trade lives for oil again
and again.
So when our great lands have all been raped
and there are no troops left to send;
is it then when "they" will finally ask themselves
'Why was it done?'
'When will it end?'
