My reason for joining Writing.com is like anyone else's: I'm here to write. I don't write for academic purposes, but out of a need to put my imagination and feelings onto paper. I have a need for putting words to how I feel and to what I create in my mind. Hopefully I will one day write a novel, but this is still a long-term project at best. Right now my focus is on poetry.
