I am 44 and have been an avid reader my whole life. I wrote my first story when I was 12. It was about "The Six Million Dollar Man", my favorite TV hero at the time. I was made fun of mercilessly by someone I trusted and didn't write again until I was 24. My skin has become thicker since my 1st attempt, all those years ago.
