Some writers use their words like a tiny paintbrush, paying attention to the finest detail, painting a fine picture with nuance and subtlety. I, however, believe in writing haphazardly with a broad house-painting brush. Better yet, a paint roller. Better yet, a Dwarven battle hammer. Who needs paint? Others may have created masterpieces, but I just destroyed the canvas. I busted a hole in the drywall. I made a dent in the stainless steel refrigerator door. My art serves me and I am the master of it. This is America.
