Summary of this Book...
I wasn’t too crazy of this novel. I even thought of skipping this review as I don’t like giving bad reviews, but I had mentioned I’d read it, so here it is.

The story seems to be about a drone that young female scientist Katrina on the US side invented. Her drone is in the shape of an insect and can hardly be noticed, and it is used to gather data.

The story begins with Katrina and her lover Rigger and a sex scene, at the end of which what the CIA wants the drone Dragonfly to do is told in a sentence or two during their dialogue. During their few travels with other agents and a few spying-oriented adventures, Katrina meets with her twin who is a Russian agent and who designed the Monarch butterfly to do the same thing as the Dragonfly. Neither twin knew about the existence of the other and they lived happily ever after.

It is not the general plot but its quirky twists that threw me off. I found the language and style of writing dry and monotonous, though direct and plain it may be. I also thought the characters had no depth and they felt like they were like puppets. I understand this is an action story but, still, from where I stand it has no redeeming quality.

I didn't like...
just about everything. It is like a fourth-grade student, maybe at best a sixth or seventh-grader, wrote it. So many things don't make sense. For example when one twin meets the other, she thinks she knows her from somewhere but where she doesn't know. These are identical twins. Didn't she ever look into a mirror? In fact, when they see their images together, they catch on their likeness.
I don't recommend this Book because...
You'll get nothing out of it, unless you enjoy unexplained or not-well explained coincidences. Still, like any other story, a better author could make it work.
Further Comments...
The plot seems to planned on weird ideas and sudden or not-too-believable twists or turns. Still it could be made to work. It might even make a spy-action movie.
