Elizabeth Stuart is a small town reporter in Minnesota. She is fresh out of a nasty divorce, and everyone in town considers her an outsider. She's from Texas, so she doesn't mix well with the Minnesotans. She discovers that one of the towns leading citizens has been murdered, and the quest begins to find out who did it. The plot twists and turns; just when you think you know who it was, it is someone else. She ends up falling in love and having a fresh start.

The action scenes. Tami Hoag made them on the edge of your seat good. I also liked that the culprit wasn't who I suspected.

The style in which she wrote, just rubbed me wrong I guess. Everything essential was there, it just lacked something. She has potential to be more, it just isn't there yet.

This is the first of Tami Hoag's books that I have read. As I said before, she has potential to be great, but this book didn't show it.

it's a fast read, it's got a good story, and a good ending.

I wouldn't recommend it to someone looking for something with depth.
