Summary of this Book...
the mysterious home called, "Rose Red." Ellen Rimbauer writes in her diary, and she relates the hauntings and disappearances in her home. Rose Red was built on an Indian burial ground, but all of the paranormal effects aren't attributed to it. It seems that Rose Red has a spirit of her own, and she is jealous of anyone who tries to come between her and Ellen.
I especially liked...
the demise of Ellen's husband.
I didn't like...
the disappearance of Ellen's maid, Sukeena.
This Book made me feel...
scared. Great horror, especially since it's supposed to be true.
I recommend this Book because...
it's bone-chilling, spine-tingling horror, sure to please any haunted house fanatic.
Further Comments...
I really enjoyed this book. I had seen the movie on TV, and reading this book gave me more background on the story. I visited the website http://www.beaumontuniversity.com and it had more background info and pictures of Rose Red. The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer is a "must read" for anyone that is a haunted house fanatic like myself.
