This book is written about the differences between Korean and American culture. It can serve as a useful guide to what is appropriate in either culture. It provides many different contrasts and comparisons, as well as highlighted text to show important differences between the two cultures

I adored the setup of the book. It was easy to follow. I also liked the fact that both authors are knowedgeable about both nations and cultures.

When I finished I wanted to go back over my experiences in Korea and see how the information compared. It seemed to be spot on by my experieces, too.

More knowedgeable about Korea and it's norms.

The authors are very capable of getting their points across and expaining things in easy to follow ways that are not insulting to the reader or to people of either culture covered.

I would recommend this book to anyone planning to travel to Korea or the US. It would be a valuable resource to prevent social gaffs.

I wish there were more books like this on the market for different cultures, although it would be hard to keep it fresh since, for example, Japanese/American contrasts, were it written, would duplicate half the information.
