Its a parody of Lord of the Rings(if you couldnt tell by the name) and its very, very well done.
I especially liked...
They didn't just make fun of the story in a tacky, uneducated sort of way, they satirzed it in a clever, intelligent, extremly humourous manner.
I didn't like...
They cut some stuff, I think theres some scenes that could have been hilarious that they left out.

its, if not the funniest then one of the funniest books I've ever read!

Well certain people lacking a sense of humour wont like it thats for sure. YOU SHOULD ONLY READ BORED OF THE

RINGS IF YOU'VE READ, NOT SEEN LORD OF THE RINGS. IT'S FULL OF SPOILERS!

I personally love Lord of the Rings, the books and movies are very much among my favorite things, and I consider myself a very big LOTR and Tolkien fan. Yet I can still read Bored of the Rings and apprecaite it and think its very well done, humourous and clever without being offended. Hope you can do the same and distingust between laughing with and laughing at. :) Some of the content may offend some people, but i dont think its above PG-13...compared to a lot of PG-13 movies its VERY mild!
