Kilisha is apprenticed to Ithanalin the Wise, a wizard who specializes in animation spells.

Unfortunately, while Kilisha is out searching for a small vial of grey cat's blood, there is an accident.

She arrives to find her master in an unanimated state...

Not only is he unanimated, however, it appears as if something happened to all the furnature! Only the mirror and the door lock are still in the room.

Looking at the mirror, Kilisha quickly makes another discovery. The mirrror is... talking to her!

The mirror tells the whole story. Apparently her master was mixing a spell when a tax collector knocked on the door.

But the spell was such that the material had to be mixed non-stop. Ithanalin had headed to the door... and tripped, spilling the contents around the room.

Into the furnature, which had, upon being animated, run out the door that the newly animated lock opened.

Kilisha quickly sees that it is up to her to find the animated furnature, and fix her master... but that may be more work than it seems.

Entertainment. It might even make you laugh.

The imagination contained in the book, and the underlaying humor.

I didn't like the animated spoon. That was a bit weird...
