Summary of this DVD...
Dr. Bruce Banning was born with genetic changes, thanks to his father's self-experimentation. Somehow, he kept this locked inside for thirty years, but it finally bursts free. The military, predictably, seek to contain him; his father seeks to exploit him, and his girlfriend - we don't know what she wants.
This type of DVD is good for...
A cup holder. No, a bookmark. No, a dart board. Well, you get the idea.
I especially liked...
the Hulk tv show. I don't remember it well - I haven't seen it in about 15 years, and I wasn't a "serious" fan, so I don't remember it very well.
I didn't like...
Hmm, where to start?
*Bullet*I didn't like the way they showed multiple screens/actions/point of views at the same time. I think I remember this type of deal from the $6 Million Man or whatever, but I don't specifically recall it from the Hulk. Even if it was, well, they stopped doing that for a reason, and it's QUITE annoying.
*Bullet*The Hulk's appearance. He looks, um, like a computer animated graphic. The TV Hulk looked SO much better
*Bullet*The Hulk himself. I thought I remembered the Hulk was the good guy. Now he's an innocent victim?
*Bullet*The poodle and the father. Psycho, that's all I can say.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
Thank anyone and everyone that it was over. I wanted to watch something, you know, good.
This DVD made me feel...
Bored, irritable, annoyed and grumpy. Also eager to see "Gone in 60 Seconds", my next planned movie.
The cast of this DVD...
There were two guys, a girl, and a psycho poodle. Oh, and that chameleon. I mean, come on. This movie was all about effects. And the effects stank.
I recommend this DVD because...
It is great for keeping watermarks off your table
I don't recommend this DVD because...
The cast was lousy, the effects were lousy, and the poodle was on crack.
Further Comments...
I was not an obsessive Hulk fan. I didn't read comic books. Maybe this is true to the comic book Hulk. Maybe he wasn't a super hero in the television show, just your average guy. But even without expectations, this was bad. The scene split was annoying. The Hulk looked faker than the Enterprise in the 60s tv show "Star Trek". I couldn't figure out how his girl could turn him in. I don't understand why he didn't Hulkify when he was a kid. If he was a fixed soldier, why did the toy hurt him? This movie was confusing, self-contradicting, and again, had lousy effects. I'm glad I only paid $3 for it or I'd be seriously upset. The only thing I like is the desert scenery. I like the desert.
